Partnered with a nonprofit organization to run Google Ads as part of this hands-on program, gaining invaluable insights into digital advertising challenges and strategies. This was the nonprofit’s first experience with Google Ads, revealing critical areas for improvement: restricted medical content on their pages hampered ad performance, their web pages were not optimized for effective user targeting, and a donation-focused goal proved misaligned with Google Ads best practices.
Despite these challenges, our team managed to lower the cost-per-click (CPC) below industry averages within the program's limited timeframe. This experience highlighted the importance of aligning ad campaigns with organizational goals and optimizing digital assets for success.
